| Floyd sat me on the back seat of his Goldwing (nice bike, by the way!!) and hauled me up to Woodbourne, NY to attend a 3-day gathering of friends and motorcycle enthusiasts from around the country. We camped for 4 days, did a lot of scenic riding through the Catskills and along the Delaware River, and then on the final evening I was auctioned off to benefit the local Fire Department and First Aid Squad. You'll meet my new travel companions, Melissa and Dave, at the bottom of this page. Enjoy the pictures! |

We arrived at the campgrounds. We had an amazing 4 hour ride up here over mountains and through beautiful State Parks, through narrow forrest roads alongs rivers, lakes, and streams. Floyd handles this bike pretty good!

After the long ride, Floyd provided a cool beverage.
He brought many of these with him and shared them with his friends. |

|
We tried to set up our tent, but friends kept showing up and sharing cold refreshing beverages.

Here's my new friend, Sheila. She's wonderful!
Sheila just set a world record for riding her Goldwing 126,111 miles in under one year-as of 4/6/07. I was fortunate enough to ride the entire weekend with her. She's cool! |

|
We even made it out the original location of the Woodstock music and arts festival of 1969.
I wish I could have been there. |

|
WOW.... Flashbacks!

|
Here we are on Rt. 97 at "Hawks Nest" on the Delaware River. It is beautiful!

Here I am on the auction table, getting ready to meet my new travel companions.
