| Hey Floyd!!!! I want to get the little guy moving on his merry way.. He put on a few miles this past weekend and is ready for more adventures Since time is short, Hedo has PMed me and wants to take the Gnome next.. I was kinda hoping to make it an in person handoff to a halfway point?? Your thoughts?? I was hoping to get him over to Italy for Ciento Passe in July, but the guy didnt have room in his luggage and I figured he should see the USA first Anyway, heres his travelogue for his time with us.. Enjoy! Dave, Melissa and Dan |

My travel started with a rainy ride to my new home in Bethlehem, PA USA from Catscade
Luck would have it that my host family had one Goldwing with room in the trunk to ride!! Yipee!! Had a lovely lunch at the Bethlehem Outback with Wheels, Gadget and Margarita Will!
The week was uneventful and Dave, Melissa and Dan were quite accommodating. |

I was awakened Saturday morning at 0700 with a stir to be dragged out on the bike for a little ride!!! Weeeeeee!!! First stop was a motorcycle dealer where I was looking at some of the cool rides!! A little Vespa and a three wheeled contraption called an MP3.. Sadly both were far too large for me to reach the ground |

We then met up with a pair of Dans on Ducatis and darted off to parts unknown!!!
After quite a nice ride on some fine twisty roads we stopped at Emerald Point in Greenwood Lake, NY for some cool breezes and a spot of delicious Iced Tea!! |

There was a large amount of Ducati Rat Bikes there and I found some friends who took me for a little ride in a paddleboat!!

I found another friend who was riding in a flashy convertible!! (He didnt say much though)

From there, we went to Bear Mountain, NY on the Palisades. What a view of the Hudson River valley from Perkins Drive!!! Heres the crew!! A gracious sole provided me with some much needed refreshment!!

On the way back we stopped at a Dairy Bar/Farm Market for some ice cream!! The Ducati Dans really liked that!! I didnt know Ice Cream came from my friend pictured here (shes shy)

A full day and 300 miles or so later Im ready for some much needed rest!!!
The next day was gloomy, but here we go again, out the door way too early!!! Apparently there is a group that Dave and Melissa belong to that ride every Sunday all winter long!!! Its the AMA Polar Bear Grand Tour Brrrrr .. One of the favorite stops is a place called The Cabin.. One of the Waitresses had a horrible accident and has many problems.. They were running a benefit ride in for her and her family!! Here I am signing in!! |

Here I am with the head Polar Bear, his name is Bob!!!

A dreary day, but a good deed done!!!
A lovely trip home through the center of Princeton, NJ (home of the University!!!) Im sitting now in front of their fireplace thinking of where to go next!!!! Cheers! |
